Freedom and Control
In this series, I explore the contrast between freedom and control. Therefore I play with letting the ecoline or acrylic painting find her way and controlling the lines inside the borders. This interplay of transparency and opacity, freedom and control, brings a dynamic tension to each piece. How much can we plan in our own lives? Really as much as we think we can? How many borders were made by planning or was it more by chance? These questions are fascinating to me and I investigate them in my work. Colors play a crucial role, representing moments and feelings, adding another layer of meaning to my art.
